All Progressives Congress (APC) youth leader in Edo State, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed, has died in a car crash.
The accident occurred last Thursday when he was travelling to Etsako Local Government Area to attend a party meeting.
Leaders and party members who attended the meeting at the secretariat at Agenebode, the administrative headquarters of the local government, were shocked when they heard the news.
State chairman, Godwin Obaseki said: “No words can describe the sorrow and sadness I feel at this devastating news of his death. Mohammed was a hardworking and dedicated young man who had a way of connecting with the youths in Edo State. He was a valuable member of the APC. Our hearts go out to his family and we commiserate with the APC and the entire youth and people of Edo State on this tragic loss.”
The meeting was postponed as Mr. Obaseki later visited the scene of the accident.
