EFCC and anti-corruption war


In Nigeria, we get excited over celebrated cases but quickly forget once new ones emerge not bothering about the outcome of the old ones.
Did we realise that cases instituted during the Nuhu Ribadu’s tenure as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, are still in courts over eight years of their filings?
The accused don’t even remember about their cases again. The current show by the EFCC is the $2.1bn arms procurement funds. What happens to the oil money investigation this current EFCC started with? Now, we have jumped to arms deal.
