Only when World Leaders and the global media condemn acts of terror and insurgency everywhere with the same passion that attends the repudiation of the Paris Massacre can we have a universe united against terrorism.
My heart goes out to France and to my brothers and Sisters in Somalia, Kenya, Egypt, Iraq et al harassed and harangued every so often by terrorists. My heart remains with my Kindred in the North East of Nigeria who since 2009 are supplies for odious human barbecues dished by impish Haramists, at the last count over 20,000 Nigerian lives have been extinguished.
Until truly one act of terror anywhere is deemed as an act of terror everywhere our universe may never win the war and the battle against terrorism.
When we see and treat all humans as equal we deplete the hate that fuels terrorism. When we adhere to the golden rule of faith, LOVE, and adopt same as the permissible universal margin, the conflicts of faith that inspire the gullible and the ignorant to villainy shall diminish.
Make no mistake the terrorist is not a muslim, but a hate-filled homo sapien. And the one who must defeat terror must marshall a Love-filled universal network against terrorism. We must show the same degree of love and care for victims of terror any and everywhere, that way we can unleash a world united against terror and only that way can we defeat terror.
It is said that one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter, however only true love and universal brotherhood predicated on justice, fairness, equality and truth can invalidate such praxis. It is therefore trite in our resolve against terrorism to make hash-tag Paris as intense as hash-tag Maiduguri, and hash-tag New York as huge as hash-tag Nairobi.
