Boko Haram terrorists have killed four persons in Borno State, the Nigerian Army has said.
The insurgents also abducted four women during the attack on Kutuva village in the state.
This was disclosed by army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman via a statement released on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.
According to Usman, the vigilante members engaged the terrorists in a gun battle, before they escaped into a nearby bush.
“Sadly however, the vigilante could not trace the terrorists or the abducted women. Effort is ongoing to trace and rescue them,” he said.
Usman also said that the vigilantes rescued an 11 year old girl who had been abducted from Batha village.
