Popular American actress, Meryl Streep, appeared as Donald Trump in a mockery show at the Public Theatre 2016 Gala in Central Park, New York.
With the help of a spray tan, fake belly and an oversized red tie, Streep transformed into Trump – proving that she can transform into anyone.
According to a report by Daily Mail, Streep’s “Trump” and Christine Baranski teamed up to sing “Brush Up Your Shakespeare”—a duet that’s usually sung by two men.
Streep, who is a staunch supporter of Hillary Clinton, inserted a line saying “You’ll let me know, why all the women say no.”
Streep has played inspiring political figures like Margaret Thatcher, Emmeline Pankhurst on the big screen, she has also played Lindy Chamberlin; a New Zealand-born Australian woman who was at the centre of one of Australia’s most publicised murder trials.
