Surely a burglary can't get any worse than having to turn yourself in while in the process. That was the experience of 20-year-old Lauren Fox who somehow managed to get herself stuck in a chimney while breaking into a home in Spring, Texas.
She had to call for rescue after spending 45 minutes in the chimney...and it took another 45 minutes for first responders to free her. She told police she tried entering the house because she was cold but no one is buying her yarn. She is now being charged with criminal trespass.
The young woman was seen smiling as police led her to the squad car and only suffered minor scratches and bumps.
Fox is an aspiring singer, and wrote on her Facebook page earlier this month; 'A special thanks to all of my true friends & family who are sticking by my side in my music career!! I need all of the support I can get! xoxo'
