What sets Wole Arisekola apart from other men is the purposefulness of his every action. Wole Arisekola, Publisher of Street Journal magazine, an online publication, is in search of stronger ties between Northerners and the people of the South Western part of the country. According to him, this is necessary, considering the long history of the relationship between the two regions. Arisekola, who is also Chairman of Association of Online Practitioners, made this remark while speaking at the Yoruba/Fulani economic seminar in Akure, Ondo State, penultimate Friday.
He, however, regretted that the long history of relationship between the two ethnic groups has not been effectively maximised for political and economic gains. Arisekola strongly believes that the two regions can further maximise the profits on their agricultural produce, even as he encouraged them to also invest in electricity generation. He urged the people of South West to help in the reconstruction of some parts of the North that have been ravaged by Boko Haram insurgents, saying the evil perpetrated by the insurgents is beyond what should be left for the Northerners alone to handle.
