The teenage king was formally presented to Aniocha South Council of Traditional Rulers at Ogwuashi-Uku, headquarters of the council area by the Chairman, Mr. Isaac Anwuzia.
In a brief interview with newsmen shortly after the presentation, Obi Akaeze expressed gratitude to the people of the kingdom for their support, saying in “this time of grief, I am just trying to take everything slowly.”

Anwuzia said the new Obi is young and needed all their support and encouragement and also urged the monarchs to accept him into their fold and support him with prayers. He disclosed that Obi Akaeze would be presented to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa today at the Government House, Asaba.
Chairman of the Local Government Traditional Rulers’ Council and the Obi of Ubulu-Uno, Afamefuna Kikachukwu said they would ensure that all the processes were followed in the installation of the new king.
