The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that it would now hold the meetings of the National Caucus of the party, Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Executive Committee (NEC) on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
According to the schedule approved by the National Working Committee, the meeting of the National Caucus of the party had been slated for Tuesday, February 9th, It would be followed by the meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) on the morning of Wednesday, February 10th and the National Executive Committee (NEC) would meet at 2pm on the same Wednesday, February 10th, 2016.
A statement issued on Friday by the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, the party said the organs were meeting in response to recent developments within its fold.
"In view of the recent developments in the party, the National Working Committee (NWC) of PDP has scheduled meetings of key statutory organs of the party. The meetings are in furtherance of internal discussions on very crucial issues within the party as well as ways to reposition it for the challenges ahead”, he said.
