Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Itodo Akor believes his team has enough quality to overcome Kano Pillars in their opening 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League game at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.
Itodo will be among the senior players in the team, who will be looked at to guide the Flying Antelopes past the hosts.
Rangers will be looking to avoid a defeat in their opening match of the new campaign.
"It will be a great match. Both teams have talents to win the match and we are looking forward to starting on a good footing," Itodo told Goal.
"We know that Pillars are a good team, but we have players who are capable of winning this one. We have to go all out."
"Rangers will approach the match at a very high tempo, that is the way to play in Kano. We will be fearless in our game plan."
The game is schedule to get underway at 4pm local time.
