Emenike, Moses score as Hammers win

Emmanuel Emenike marked his first start for West Ham with two goals on Sunday as the London side hammered Blackburn Rovers 5-1 at Ewood Park to qualify for quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Goals fromVictor Moses, Dimitri Payet and Emenike saw the Hammers through to the sixth round.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic likened playmaker Dimitri Payet to Real Madrid’s Luka Modric after the Frenchman inspired their rout of Blackburn, according to a Sky Sports reports.
Rovers, who played the last 35 minutes with 10 men after Chris Taylor’s sending off, took the lead through Ben Marshall, but Moses’ first goal in five months – courtesy of an error by goalkeeper Jason Steele – and a Payet free-kick turned things around before the break.
Emenike added two in the second half, after Cheikhou Kouyate had seen red, and Payet fittingly finished things off with a brilliant individual effort.
“I haven’t seen a better player than that. He is also doing the dirty work and on the ball he is up there with Luka Modric from the players I have trained so far,” said Bilic, who coached Modric at international level with Croatia.
“Dimitri is one of the best I have trained and every week I want those questions (about him) to continue, but it is hard to be surprised.
“I have to get some poetry lessons to describe his importance to us.”
Manchester United and League One side Shrewsbury play their fifth-round tie on Monday with the winner set to host West Ham.
