Leaders of thought and residents of Ayelabola Community Development Association, at Iyesi Ota, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun state is planning a ‘mother of all gathering’ in the community to deliberate on way forward. The meeting is to host Ajowa Iyesi Ota ACDC.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 11, 2016,
A release issued by Timi Awoyemi, Chairman of the Ayelabola community, said that the Ajowa – Iyesi Ota Area Community Development Committee, consisting of about 80 CDAs, plans to hold and brainstorm on developmental issues concerning over 40 Communities around the vicinity, namely Iyana Iyesi, Mopinlola, Ayetoro, Iyesi, Ijaba (Inu), Ijaba, Erin, Orikowonjo, Itori, Isaga, Oloya, Egan, Arobieye, Abiola, Idimu, Osuke, Ilasa, Feru, amongst others. It has now become of utmost importance that government should look the way of Ajowa-Iyesi Ota Communities especially in the light of the massive influx of the large number of people into the area which have made its public infrastructures to be under serious pressure.
This brings to focus the Iyana-Iyesi to Osuke and Ilasa road via Iyesi-Ota on the Y-route road, especially with the attention of the governor that has been duly drawn to this road and the dispatch of his engineers to the communities to investigate and assess works to be done, with assurances that all work just requires the governor’s final assent for work to begin on the road.
Conclusions at the meeting are expected to be sent to the government through its representatives at the meeting for prompt actio
