Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi
Next April, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III), the Elegushi of Ikateland and the youngest Oba in Yorubaland, will clock 40. Although, he is yet to map out plans in which to celebrate the milestone birthday anniversary, his close friends have begun to strategize and prepare for the event. The ELITES gathered that they may be working in concert with his beautiful wife, Oloori Aramide Sekinat Elegushi.
Lately, the profile of Oba Elegushi, who is regarded as Nigeria’s most effervescent royal father, has been on the rise. He has emerged as one of the most influential monarchs in the country as well. He is reported to have strongly influenced the emergence of Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi and Oba Adewale Akanbi, as the Ooni of Ife and the Oluwo of Iwoland, respectively.

Oba Elegushi was born to the family of late (Oba) Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi, Elegushi Royal Family of Ikateland, Lagos State on the 10th of April, 1976. He had his early at the St. Mathias Primary School and Methodist Boys’ High School, Lagos. Later, he attended the Lagos State University, Ojo, from he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Economics. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Economics from the same institution.

Oba Elegushi worked in many sectors and was able to garner fertile experience in various capacities as a distinguished professional, politician and a philanthropist. He was the Personal Assistant to former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he served as the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN on Special Duties until his installation as the Oba Elegushi of Ikateland on April 27, 2010.
Oba Saheed is married to Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi and they are blessed with three children.
