CHAN 2016: Eagles attack…Chikatara to start against Tunisia

Super Eagles manager, Sunday Oliseh is set to re-jig the teams attack in Friday’s game against Tunisia following the five star performance of Abia Warriors striker, Chisom Chikatara in the Eagles 4-1 demolition of Niger on Monday.
Reliable camp sources told Daily Sunsports exclusively that Oliseh had resolved to start Chikatara ahead of Tunde Adeniji in the match against Tunisia.
According to our source, the coach was more than impressed with the performance of the 21-year old player and had resolved that he can not afford to keep him on the bench in such a crucial match in which the Tunisians would be desperate to take after failing to beat Guinea in their first game.
“Oliseh is aware that Tunisia will fight with the last drop of their blood in that match. After failing to beat Guinea, the north Africans will come all out in that game and Oliseh is not ready to take chances. He feels Chikatara on current form is hot and he would unleash him on the Tunisians right from the very first blast of the referee’s whistle.”
It would be noted that Tunisia was forced to a 2-2 draw by Guinea in the first match of the group.
Meanwhile, Chikatara who emerged the MVP of the Nigeria, Niger game thanks to his hat-trick had vowed to keep firing on all cylinders in the tournament.
In the words of the player: “I’m happy with my performance in the game against Niger, most importantly the goals…Now, we focus on the next game against Tunisia and hopefully, I will get to add to my tally.”

The game against Tunisia would be played at the Kigali Regional Stadium.
