Businessman kidnapped in Festac

A businessman, Francis Umeh was yesterday kidnapped at Festac Town, Lagos by gunmen.

He was reportedly kidnapped around 7.30am at Mobil filling sta­tion, Amuwo Odofin very close to his residence by five gunmen dressed in military uniforms, He has been taken to an unknown hideout.

There was pandemonium as the ab­ductors released gunshots while flee­ing from the scene.

“So far, they are yet to contact his family. The case was reported by his wife at Festac Area Command.

“As at 12 noon yesterday, the report had not reflected in police crime di­ary or incident diary.” A family source said.
