Abia North: Ohuabunwa launches malicious campaign against Kalu

INDICATIONS have emerged that Mazi Mao Ohuabunwa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has assembled some hack-writers and online journal­ists to launch a campaign of calumny against Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu over the Abia North senatorial seat rerun poll.

Ohuabunwa started this unwholesome behaviour since the Appeal Court sit­ting in Owerri, Imo State, upheld the appeal of busi­ness mogul and former gov­ernor of Abia State, Kalu, and asked for a rerun.

A statement by Mrs Rub­by Obina from Orji Uzor Kalu Media Centre in Abuja emphasised that while the former governor and candi­date of the Progressive Peo­ples Alliance (PPA) has no grouse with anybody, those against him are ruffled and troubled with participation in the rerun.

“We would want to say that Kalu has nothing against anybody or group; it is only a ruffled mind like Ohuabunwa that makes a restless pillow. Ohuabunwa is having a restless night and wonders how he is go­ing to stand in a free and fair election with Kalu whom he knows will beat him hands down, hence he is jittery.

“Very few people like Kalu possess true love and the ability to win election in Nigeria in a free and fair contest, so, Ohuabunwa knew of this and he is using unproductive techniques such as abuse on the per­sonality of Kalu to irritate the situation.

Ohuabunwa is a restless skeleton since the cancel­lation of that fraud called Abia North senatorial elec­tion, which declared him the winner.

“Ohuabunwa represents the quote by one Ralph Steadman, ‘Evil is always devising more corrosive misery through man’s rest­less need to exact revenge out of his hate’. “Ohuabun­wa is forced through the cancellation of that election to be tired of his well-worn ways of defrauding elec­tion.

Abia State people knew that Ohuabunwa is illogi­cal, unreasonable, and self-centered with selfish ulte­rior motives. He is a false ‘friend’ and ‘true enemy’ of the people of Abia North and Abia State in general. He is a man with the small­est mind who wanted to shut Abia North that had the biggest ideas. Before Mao Ohuabunwa insults Kalu again, let him know that there is no sinner like an election rigger in Abia North.
