CONTRARY to widely held belief that Akwa United Coach Zachary Baraje will lead the team to Africa, we can report authoritatively that the a Federation Cup Champions have hired experienced tactician Maurice Cooreman on a two year contract.
Unarguably the most successful coach in Nigeria after winning all the trophies in the land, including leading five Nigerian club sides to CAF competitions, Cooreman we were told has the blessing of the State Governor Deacon Udom Emmanuel who told him in Government House that nothing but the cup will be acceptable.
