UPDATED: Fire outbreak at Westminster Market Apapa

There was a fire outbreak at the popular Westminster Market in the Trinity area of Apapa, Lagos on Saturday morning.

Our correspondent confirmed that the fire engulfed 12 containers used as warehouses at the market.

The market where all kinds of items are sold, from blenders to cooking gas, is located close to some tank farms in Apapa.

The Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Mr. Rasak Fadipe, could not be immediately reached to comment on the fire.
