Professor Rahman Bello, General Adetunji Olurin (retd), Ambassador Ebun Oyagbola and other eminent sons and daughters of Yewa would be honoured at a civic reception and achievement awards, at Ilaro -Yewa tomorrow.
The reception hosted by the paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle (MFR) and all other royal fathers in Yewa, will take place at the Asade Agunloye Pavillion, Empire Field, Ilaro-Yewa at 12 noon prompt.
According to a statement signed by the Personal Assistant to the paramount ruler, Mr. Bolaji Leigh, other distinguished personalities to be honoured at the occasion include Professor Emeritus, Anthony Asiwaju, former Secretary to Ogun State government, Deacon Poju Adeyemi, and a former deputy governor of Ogun State, Alhaja Salmat Badru and others. Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Suraj Adekanmbi and new Head of Service, Elder Sola Adeyemi will also be honoured at the event too.
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo is expected to chair the occasion with Governor Ibikunle Amosun as the distinguished special guest of honour, Sir Kessington Adebutu equally is expected as the guest of honour.
