I cannot be more grateful to the Almighty for crafting a nation like ours into time and making me citizen of this space of untold beauties, of unequaled munificence, and of priceless wealth.
Nigeria is not only blessed with huge population but with the largest assemblage of boisterous black men and women. Nigeria is blessed with the best arable soil in God's world, yes we can plant and harvest round the year. Nigeria is the greatest convergence of languages and cultures yet not the most populous nation in the planet, we are indeed the truest coalition of God's beauty and divergence. And we must make the best of this blessedness.
The world is interested in us because we hold the key to the parlour of global harmony where parlous threats to the brotherhood of man will diminish, therefore I cannot be more hopeful that together as a people we can bury the dichotomies of creed and clan, of region and religion, and of indigenship, and grow a nation that waters the seeds of patriotism, of love, and of oneness.
Countrymen and women, when President Jonathan from the 'minorities' became the 14th Head of State of Nigeria, it was divinely orchestrated to close a sorry and sullied past. The number 14 epitomizing deliverance, forgiveness and forgetfulness.
And now that President Buhari is our 15th Head of State, may the symbolism of the number 15 come with his watch. May the day after deliverance inspire a resurrection away from our fault lines as we walk the talk of brotherhood, of love, and of nationhood.
May President Buhari understand the fierce urgency of now and unite our nation to the task of fulfilling our role as Country, as the Giant of Africa, and as a Leader in God's world.
God Bless Nigeria.
To Be CONT'D.
