We have an opposition that shoots persistently and profusely at just about everything we say or do. The PDP demonises anything that has the APC on it believing that's how best to wear the tag of opposition, yet we have in government DGs, EDs, ESs, and Board Chairmen and members appointed by the PDP, such is the paradox on our hands.
There are steps to be taken that politics approve, steps that the Law says is right, actions that are morally trite, and decisions not only just but timely, Mr President and the Party must take full charge of the paraphernalia of governance and run the Parastatals in accordance with the CHANGE mantra and manifesto of the APC.
The vehicle of governance must be driven by experts and good-men appointed by the present leadership and the Party in power. Need I say that the fulfillment of the promises of change shall be to our credit, and God-forbid we fail the blame shall be ours totally. So we must take charge completely.
Countrymen and women, when the permissible governmental minimum becomes COUNTRY FIRST, all levels of leadership will subjugate SELF with COUNTRY, and those who do not believe in the present leadership would resign rather than sit-tight in the name of tenured appointees and remain naught but clogs in the wheel of change.
I believe that government must do the needful, now is the time to re-invigorate our Parastatals to meet the present challenge, we must unite our people against the divisive call for Biafra; we must revive our Agencies to preach love, peace and harmony; and we must re-energize our faith in the collective. Yes, We CAN.
