Banabas Attah, Per Second News---Former Kogi state governor, Prince Abubakar Audu, on Saturday during his official declaration for governor said the Governor Wada led PDP government in the state was sponsoring smear campaign against him.
Audu alleged that the PDP is sponsoring many aspirants into the APC to challenge him in the 29 August Primary election in the state.
The visibly troubled Audu said most of the aspirant in the APC were sponsored by forces in PDP to stop him from winning the primary.
The two time governor said he is confident of winning the gubernatorial primaries, promising to chase out all intruders planted by the PDP.
" Some of them collected N10million Naira each from the PDP to buy form and contest against me but I will defeat them." He stated.
It would be recalled that All Progressive Congress, APC has been enmeshed in crisis in the state following un-controllable numbers of people vying for the position of governor in the state.
