A-list comedian, Julius Agwu, is getting better and better – after successfully undergoing a brain surgery in America. Convalescing at his Lekki Phase 1, Lagos home, the abundantly talented entertainer now looks fresher. He’s also added some weight and even attended some meetings with his sponsors on Lagos Island days back, preparatory to the 10th anniversary of his popular comedy show, Crack Ya Ribs, in London. Billed for sometime in August, the show which usually holds on the eve of the Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom, will feature rave crooner, Korede Bello and a couple of his colleagues like Okey Bakassi, AY, I Go Dye and himself. Hype has already begun in London to sensitize all his fans and also get them ready for the show which Julis has dubbed ‘a thanksgiving event’.
Julius Agwu, it would be recalled, had been losing weight rapidly for months, which got some of his friends and family members worried. He eventually travelled to American where two lumps were detected in his head. Pronto, he was wheeled into the theatre where a successful surgery was performed on him. This was on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 and at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston Texas, United States of America. The surgery lasted for about 4 hours. He got back to the country afterwards, granted YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine an exclusive interview on all that he’s been through, and it has been trending ever since. Now much, much better, he’s getting set for the 10th edition of his annual Crack Ya Ribs in London.
