Kaduna APC Slams Senator Sani As ‘Chief Agent Of The 2019 Conspirators’
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has warned Senator Shehu Sani against what it described as his “irresponsible utterances” about the party and its elected leaders.
BY SAHARAREPORTERS,
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has warned Senator Shehu Sani against what it described as his “irresponsible utterances” about the party and its elected leaders.
A statement by Salisu Wusono, the State Publicity Secretary of the APC, dismissed the Senator, who is currently on suspension, as desecrating the image of the party, noting that that is why he was suspended.
“This is a man who seems unable to believe his good fortune at riding on the Buhari wave to become a Senator,” Wusono said. “He hardly waited to arrive in Abuja before enlisting as an agent of the forces who began to plot for 2019 before they were even sworn-in following the 2015 elections.”
The party further stated that Sani tried to rubbish President Muhammadu Buhari by describing the anti-corruption crusade as political, but is now pretending to love Buhari by needlessly attacking Kaduna State Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai on behalf of those funding his immature politics.
Warning that the guilty are indeed afraid, it said that Sani’s masters, who defied the APC for their selfish ends, know that Nigerians are aware of those whose 2019 calculations made them impervious to reason and party discipline.
“The APC Kaduna State is proud of the vigorous and disciplined way Malam Nasir El-Rufai is governing Kaduna State in line with the manifesto of the APC,” the statement continued. “In Education, Health, Agriculture and general governance reforms, El-Rufai is making strides. He has demonstrated an exemplary focus on the responsibility the people of Kaduna State has given him. His loyalty to the APC and the great work that President Buhari is doing is visible for all.”
The party further called on Nigerians to ignore Sani, describing him as “a man who cannot grasp that leadership is not an ego trip or a perpetual exercise in narcissism.”

There was pandemonium yesterday in Abagu area of Gboko local government area of Benue State when the tomb of the late Tor Tiv IV, Orchivirigh Akawe Torkula collapsed.
The Tor Tiv’s grave site at Gboko has designated tombs where the remains of the previous and successive Tors are buried.
This is coming barely a month and two weeks after the late Tor Tiv was buried in lavish traditional ceremony and interdenominational service.
In Gboko town yesterday, several perons including commercial motorists, political bigwigs and and high profile traditional rulers thronged the grave yard to catch a glimpse of the collapsed tomb.
The sudden falling down of the Tor Tiv’s tomb was coming amidst widespread allegations from various quarters that the burial committee headed by Brig. General Atom Kpera (rtd) allegedly diverted funds for the burial and could not give the monarch a glamorous burial.
It was gathered that the collapse was propelled by poor work executed by the contractors. Another version said the falling of the tomb was due to heavy downpour that occurred.
However, the Tiv Area Traditional Council yesterday in a press statement signed by Mr. Godwin Ber described the incident as being instigated by mischief makers to create a wrong impression that the late Tor Tiv was not properly buried.
“The attention of the Tiv Area Traditional Council has been drawn to the news making the rounds in the social media that, the grave of the Tor Tiv has collapsed. It is only aimed at creating a false impression by mischief makers that the late Tor Tiv was not properly buried. What actually happened was that, following a heavy down pour in the early hours of Sunday 13th March, 2016, a little portion of the pit where the mechanical lowering device for the casket was fixed which is far from the grave chamber where the body was entered sank a little and was immediately filled up with only one wheelbarrow of sand,” it stated.
