15 Parties Pull Out Of IPAC, Merge Into CNPP

Crisis is looming in Ekiti State chapter of the Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) as 75% of the member political parties have pulled out of the council.

Fifteen out of over twenty members of the body of political parties, resigned their membership accusing the executive members of the group of allegedly involving in undemocratic and corrupt  tendencies.

Addressing newsmen yesterday in Ado Ekiti yesterday, the chairman of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Mr  Olu Akomolafe, who spoke on behalf of aggrieved parties announced their fusion with the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), ‘to advance the cause of democracy in the state.’15/03/2016
