Amkar Perm coach, Haji Hajiyev has expressed his disappointment over the inability of Nigeria midfielder Fegor Ogude to join the training camp in UAE in time, just as he regretted the exit of Izunna Uzochukwu from the Russian club.
Hajiyev said the first phase of preparation for the league resumption was satisfactory as he looks forward to a great second phase in Spain.
“I think the first phase of camping was satisfactory. It is a pity that from the beginning we didn’t have Fegor Ogude and the departure of Izunna Uzochukwu was not good for us. We have had many players trying with us and we dropped half of them already,” said the coach.
Ogude’s reported late to camp after his wife was kidnapped in Nigeria, while Izunna Uzochukwu quit the Russian club for OB Odense of Denmark.
