Plateau Police Lost 15 Men in 2015 = CP

Plateau State Police command has disclosed that it lost 15 of its men in 2015, noting also that 1,024 officers and men of the command were promoted within the same period.

Commissioner of Police (CP) in the state, Adekunle Oladunjoye, stated this monday while briefing newsmen at the state police headquarters in Jos the state capital.

He said, “The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, in his magnanimity in rewarding and motivating officers and men of the force, has graciously promoted 1024 of the Plateau state command in the year 2015.

“Similarly, the IG has offered scholarship award to six (6) children of police officers and men studying in various police schools in Plateau state.”
Meanwhile, Oladunjoye paraded a man who allegedly poisoned and killed his four-year old son, Bwesaf Palony with insecticide.

The CP said “The suspect during interrogation confessed to the crime and will soon be arraigned in court. “
