Bayelsa State Governor Dickson Easily Wins Re-election

Governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson Sunday easily won re-election to a second term, defeating his APC opponent Timi Sylva.

Controversies trailed the APC primaries that produced Sylva as candidate, with the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, who headed the seven-member committee that conducted the APC primaries, said there was no election and therefore Mr. Sylva could not claim victory.
