Reacting to the Ambassador, the Minister of Interior Lt.Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau said that the collaboration is a welcome development as no country can work in isolation in the fight against terrorism.
Dambazau stated that Boko Haram insurgency is no longer a problem peculiar to Nigeria alone but a regional problem affecting four other countries, adding that every nation has a role to play in the fight against the terror group.
He further expressed happiness over the offer from the Israeli government, especially to the Interior Ministry which he said is the hub of internal security in Nigeria with the five strategic security institutions, adding that the major challenge of dealing with internal security is in the Ministry.
