Apparently the Miss Nigeria Pageant posted a picture of their contestants on Instagram and asked the public to 'Like' the pictures.
Two girls came out toping the list with lots of votes(likes) Uju Lorine and another contestant.
Rumor has it that the girl with the lower votes had an inside sponsor who connived with the Miss Nigeria Organisation to take out Uju's picture when she was clearly ahead of the other girl by thousand votes(likes). knowing fully well that voting ends by 12 mid-night Wednesday 21/10/2015 they(Miss Nigeria Org.) re-added the picture by 6:30pm on Wednesday and asked her to start afresh as they suspected her of cheating.
This generated an uproar on Instagram and sympathizers rallied around to cause a major spike on Instagram on Wednesday evening. Her picture got 4530 'Likes' in 5 hours and became a trending picture on Instagram after 50Cent's Picture.
It was also rumored that the Miss Nigeria Org. sent a personal message to her apologizing for deleting her previous 'Likes' which took her days to get and making her start afresh.
As at 10pm Wednesday Night the Miss Nigeria Organisers pushed the closing date to Thursday 12am(Mid-night); now the question is what are they planning to do by extending the closing day.
What underground moves are they planning to enact to make sure the contestant of their choice wins.
This goes to show the sharp practices within these organisation who claim that their pageant is free and fair.
