Nigerian Senator Imprisoned In Saudi Arabia For Lying

Former Chairman Senate Committee on Culture and Tourism, Senator Hassan Barata, is in detention in Saudi Arabia.

Barata who was arrested and quizzed by the Saudi Arabia security agencies claimed to be an employee of the Nigerian Embassy, a claim that was found to be untrue eventually.

Barata was said to have overstayed his visit in Saudi Arabia as at the time he was picked up.

He represented Adamawa South in the 6th Senate under PDP. In February 2015, he defected to APC but returned to the PDP after losing his bid to pick the governorship ticket.

He was believed to be holding an official passport on the trip.

The Federal Government has directed the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to retrieve diplomatic and official passports from all persons who are not entitled to hold such documents.

There is nothing as embarrassing and confusing as finding out that you have reached an age where you are starting to lose control of your urinary system. The medical term for this issue is incontinence, and it is common mostly in adults in their senior years; however, it is not uncommon to find the problem in people much younger. It is nothing to be ashamed about, and it is important to know that incontinence affects a great deal of people.
