Kogi PDP: Group Accuses Former President Jonathan of Fueling Crisis

A group, Okun Solidarity Agenda, OSA,  has accused former president Goodluck Jonathan of fueling the recent crisis in the Kogi state, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

President of the group, Mr. Adedayo Wale ,who made the allegation Wednesday, also said his group had uncovered plans to destroy the second term ambition of Governor Wada by controversial oil magnate, Jide Omokore and Senator Smart Adeyemi.

He said the sinister plan is to give automatic ticket to Mr Jibrin Isah..aka Echocho without proper primary election.

Per Second News gathered that one of the sins of governor Wada is the allegation that he worked against the PDP in the last election.

At a recent meeting governor Wada was asked to step down for Echocho, according to a source in the PDP.

Meanwhile, the PDP in a  statement Thursday issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, said that it has postponed the gubernatorial election earlier scheduled for Thursday.

“ The postponement was because of some logistic issues pertaining to the exercise, Metuh said.

In the statement, the NWC reassured members of the party and other critical stakeholders, particularly the gubernatorial aspirants, of a transparent, credible, free and fair primary election.

It said the NWC had approved a new date of Monday, September 14 for the primary election and directs all members to be guided by this.
