In this eclectic mix are some people who stand out for their pedigree or affiliation with those in the corridors of power. In this latter category is a woman many know as Lott J. She is the proprietress of highbrow Aduvie International School, which recently won the Nigerian Advancement Award for Best Performing Primary School in Abuja. Established in 2008 with the view to taking education to greater heights, Aduvie is translated to mean ‘A good future, a good thing or a good foresight.’ But the story is not about the school; it is about the owner, Lott J. Though reserved and easy-going, Lott J has round-the-clock security around her and her two sons. Equally from a well-to-do background, Lott J is the daughter of Chief F.D. Lott, renowned lawyer and former Attorney General of Bayelsa State. She is equally related to the former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Allison-Madueke with whom she enjoys a beautiful relationship. Speculations are however rife that Lott J’s connection to power is not just Diezani, she reportedly has a very good relationship with former President Goodluck Jonathan who some mischief makers said he is the father of her two sons. And that she has been in his life since he was a Deputy Governor. When his political fortunes skyrocketed beyond his wildest imaginations, Lott J and her two sons were relocated to the United States where they were until much later. Though because of his fiery wife, Lott J was not a frequent caller at the ultimate seat of power, but sources maintain that he goes to her Abuja residence almost on a weekly basis. But people close to former President Jonathan said its a well-choregraphed bunch of lies
