There is an ongoing apprehension among heads of government agencies and parastatals as President Muhammadu Buhari has empowered an eight-man panel, mostly made up of officials of All Progressives Congress, APC, on positions in Federal Government boards, parastatals and agencies.
The committee is headed by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Engr. Babachir Lawal, who was until recently the National Vice-Chairman, North-East of APC.
Chief Hillard Etagbo Eta, South-South, member; Chief Pius Akinyelure, South-West, member; Chief Emmanuel Eneukwe, South-East, member, and Mr. Gideon Sammani, a Senior Special Assistant to the President, Secretary
It also has national Vice-Chairmen of APC from the North-West, North-Central, South-West and South-East as members.
Lawal is to act as Chairman of the committee, which according to a statement by by Assistant Director, Press, office of the SGF, Mr. Oise Johnson, was inaugurated yesterday.
Other are Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, North-East Zone, member; Alhaji Zakari Ede, North-Central, member; Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir, North-West, member.
